Hi, I am Kerry Wilson. I went to SMA from 1962 to 1966. I started at SMA as Kerry Simpson, but at some time later my last name was changed to Wilson. After graduation from SMA, I went to college in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. I now live in Northern California near Sacramento. In 1968, the Air Force sent me to California as a photographer, a skill I picked up in College. On the weekends during the next 3 years, I spent most of my time in Yosemite National Park hiking, mountain climbing, skiing and generally having a good time in the Sierras. I have climbed 14,000' mountain in winter, hiked the John Muir trail, ocean kayaked in Northern British Columbia for 3 week by myself. When I retire in 2003, My wife and I are planning a 4-month (900-mile) ocean kayak trip between Juneau, Alaska and Seattle, Washington. I spent 1972 in Vietnam as a combat Photographer. I flew FAC missions (02s & OV10s) and rescue missions over the North in Jolly Green HH53 helicopters. I spent a lot of time working with the cargo plane crews (C130, C7, C119, and C123) documenting their efforts to supply remote site with their needs as well as moving various groups of people around South East Asia. I was part of the photo documentation team scheduled to go to Hanoi when the POWs were released, but I left Vietnam before they were released. I enjoyed my tour in Vietnam and it scared the hell out of me sometimes. After Vietnam, I returned to California and got married and continued my college education without completion. I am married with no children. I earn a living as systems programmer supporting several mainframe software packages at a large computer facility. Our hobbies are hiking, flyfishing, Winemaking. We make wine from our small vineyard. Donna and I have won many awards for our wine. 1997 was our best year. www.tomatoweb.com/shw/index.htm#State Fair Results
