In 1993, Ram Technologies reach a milestone in their business and needed the expert advise of outside business executives, and thus a Board of Directors was created. In 1995, Guy P. McSweeney was named to the Board of Directors at Ram.

McSweeney is a native of Bradenton, Florida and graduated from The Cidadel with Business degree in 1946. He immediately joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country as Korea Captain, flying over 100 missions on an F-80. After his military career, McSweeney got his introduction into telecommunications as a Sales Representative with A.B. Andrews. Since 1962, McSweeney has served as President of Resco, Inc. a Radio Engineering and Telecommunications company.

He is a member of the Rotary Club, past president of the Boys & Girls Club, and past Senior Warden of the St. Helenas Episcopal Church.
